Congratulations to SRS Member Matthew S. Kayser, MD, PhD!
Dr. Kayser is currently at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Neuroscience. On Tuesday, he was named a recipient of the 2018 Director’s New Innovator Award for his project: Building Brains in Our Sleep: A Drosophila Larval Platform for Examining Sleep and Neurogenesis. This award is for highly innovative, high-impact biomedical research. Read more about the recipients here.
