A Message from the President June 9, 2021

It is with a heavy heart that I accepted Dr. Martica Hall’s resignation as Director-at-Large for the current year and Secretary/Treasurer for the upcoming year. Dr. Hall’s positive attitude and insightful discussion will be sorely missed and I wish her well.

According to our bylaws, the SRS Board of Directors is required to appoint a replacement Secretary/Treasurer for the 2021/2022 term. The Board has appointed Dr. Kristen Knutson to be Secretary/Treasurer for the next year. As a Director-at-Large and the outgoing SRSF President, Dr. Knutson is well aware of the issues facing the SRS and is more than capable to handle this position. I look forward to continuing to work with Dr. Knutson over the next year.

Please attend the Annual Membership Meeting on June 16 at noon central time when you will learn more about the year’s activities of the SRS and be able to ask any questions you care to.
