Applications are now open for SRS Trainee Travel Awards for SLEEP 2021. SRS Trainee Awards at SLEEP are intended to help young investigators offset the cost of attending SLEEP, the Annual Meeting of the Associated Professional Sleep Societies.
SRS Diversity Travel Award – SLEEP 2021
The SRS Diversity Travel Award aims to facilitate attendance from underrepresented groups and increase diversity at the SLEEP meeting. Researchers with disabilities or who identify as coming from backgrounds underrepresented in sleep and circadian rhythms, regardless of nationality, are strongly encouraged to apply. Trainees will be offered up to $2000 reimbursement for registration fees, travel, and lodging costs associated with attending SLEEP.
Undergraduate Trainee Travel Award – SLEEP 2021
This award is offered for undergraduate trainees with an interest in pursuing a career in sleep or circadian rhythms. Trainees will be offered up to $1000 reimbursement for registration fees, travel, and lodging costs associated with attending SLEEP.
This award is generously funded by donations made to the Sleep Research Society Foundation.
Post Graduate Course Scholarship – SLEEP 2021
The Sleep Research Society (SRS) announces funds to be made available for select early career stage researchers at the post-doctoral, instructor, or assistant professor level to attend the post graduate courses, Hands on Training in Statistical Methods in Sleep Research. A certificate and funds will be presented to awardees at the end of the course, being hosted in conjunction with virtual SLEEP 2021, the annual meeting of the APSS.
