Description
We are currently hiring a regular full-time study coordinator. This individual will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of a new study examining the effects of cannabis on sleep, circadian rhythms, and circadian photosensitivity in young people. This study is funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and is being conducted in the Center for Sleep and Circadian Science (CSCS) at the University of Pittsburgh.
The coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all research activities in the study. The coordinator will work closely with the Principal Investigator, research staff, and the data manager, as well as with the staff of the Sleep and Behavioral Neuroscience Center, to ensure adequate recruitment and retention of participants, and to maintain accurate research documentation. The coordinator will also assist the Principal Investigator in oversight of research staff.
A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one year’s experience in a research project and/or related clinical setting is required. The ideal candidate would have experience with research management/coordination in an academic setting.
