The SRS is pleased to announce the launch of SRS PubAlert for its members.
What is SRS PubAlert? SRS PubAlert is a member only benefit that sends a biweekly email to members listing the most recently published journal articles, based on keywords you select. It currently searches 138 journals (listed here) and the list is growing all the time. If you would like a journal added, contact SRS coordinator at coordinator@srsnet.org with the title of the journal you would like added.
Why did the SRS develop PubAlert? After interviewing a number of SRS members, at all levels, a common issue raised was that searching through recently published journals every month for relevant articles is very time consuming. Our goal was to create a tool to conduct a periodic search for our members based on self-selected key words.
How do I use SRS PubAlert? SRS PubAlert can only be accessed from your member account. Click here for detailed instructions on setting up your search terms.
How often will I receive PubAlert emails? Results are updated every two weeks and will be emailed to you. The email contains links to each resulting article, eliminating the need to log into your member account to see an article.You must enter al least one search term in order to receive PubAlert emails.
