Description

The Sleep, Affective Neuroscience, and Development (SAND) Lab is seeking a full-time Research Project Coordinator. The SAND Lab is located at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and is headed by Dr. Adriane Soehner. Our research group studies the influence of sleep-circadian rhythms on brain development, behavioral performance, and mental health in young people (children, adolescents, young adults). The research coordinator will work on NIH-funded human subject projects focusing on age-related changes in sleep and future mental health risk. This role involves coordination of two research studies (R01HL169318, U01MH136020) at the Pittsburgh data collection site, overseeing 3 junior staff members, and providing lab management assistance to the Principal Investigator and Lab Research Operations Coordinator.

A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Public Health, Neuroscience, or related area of study and three years of relevant research experience is required.
