On Tuesday, June 5th, during the general membership meeting, the SRS presidency transitioned from Sean Drummond, PhD to Andrew Krystal, MD. Dr. Krystal has been a member of the SRS since 1987. Over the years, he has been involved in several aspects of the society including the Trainee Symposia Series, elected to the SRS Board in 2014, served as the Executive Member at-large from 2015-2017, and served the last year as President-elect. Thus, Dr. Krystal certainly has a breadth and depth of experience with the society. We are confident he will provide strong leadership during the upcoming years. Read more about Dr. Krystal here.
