Overview: The eCelcius Performance device, by BodyCap, is a digestible radio telemetry pill that provides real time measures of core body temperature. From the continuous core body temperature data collected, the circadian rhythm of temperature can be used to assess the circadian phase at which certain behaviors are occurring (e.g., eating or sleeping).
Learning Objectives: Learn how core body temperature rhythms can be measured with BodyCap and used to assess circadian timing. This webinar will present the utility of BodyCap technology used during intensive, in-laboratory research protocols designed to disentangle the effects of sleep and circadian mechanisms on cardiometabolic health outcomes.
