SLEEP 2018 opportunities sponsored by the SRS for trainees have been designed to foster scientific investigation; professional education, career development and networking in sleep and circadian research and academic sleep medicine at no additional cost to trainees. The Trainee Symposia Series (Trainee Day) and Trainee International/Domestic Match Program (Trainee ID) are open to all trainees, while SRS Awards, which include monetary awards, a Grant Writing Workshop and Sleep Mentor/Mentee Award, are open to active SRS trainee members.
The Trainee Networking Development Suite is open to all trainees on a first come, first serve basis. This new and improved space will have light meals and outstanding programming during breakfast and lunch times, while remaining an ‘open space’ for trainees during other times of the meeting. Trainees are also encouraged to join the SRS Trainee Facebook page to learn about informal social gatherings during the meeting.
