SRS Infographic Contest

Each year, the Sleep Research Society (SRS) hosts an Infographic Contest and encourages students and SRS members to submit an entry. The intent of this contest is to promote awareness about sleep and circadian rhythms through the creation of an Infographic (information graphic). By submitting to the SRS Infographic Contest, applicant(s) agree to provide the SRS with a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to use the infographic submitted to this contest.

2026 Theme: Better Sleep Builds Better Social Connections

The theme for 2026 is “Better Sleep Builds Better Social Connections”. We are inviting infographic submissions that combine text and visuals to illustrate how better sleep promotes positive social connections. Your infographic should highlight ways in which good sleep improves social relationships and speaks to scientific evidence that supports this relationship.

Eligibility Criteria
Any individual or group of individuals enrolled in high school or in an undergraduate program, or who has evidence of being enrolled in a homeschooling program, at the time of entry is eligible. Current SRS members of any category are also eligible, but this is not required.

Winning Submissions
Winners from each category of the Contest will be notified in late February 2026. Winners will be awarded the following prizes:

  • First Prize: $125 or free SRS membership/renewal for one year, a certificate, and their Infographic promoted on social media.
  • Second Prize: $75, a certificate, and their Infographic promoted on SRS social media.
