The Sleep Research Society is excited to announce its newest award aimed at recognizing early career investigators who have made significant and sustained contributions to basic, translational, clinical, population health, and/or theoretical nature to sleep and circadian science. The Rising Star Award will honor two (2) early career investigators within the SRS community for contributions exemplified by innovations in scientific research, service delivery, dissemination, mentorship, and/or public policy.
One award will be given in each of the following categories:
- Clinician Investigator: An individual who has both a research component and a clinical service component to their position (i.e., patient-oriented health services providing).
- Investigator Educator: An individual who falls out of the clinician investigator definition and who provides sleep and circadian research.
