T-32 Postdoctoral Fellow
Sleep, Circadian Rhythms and Cardiometabolic Health
Description: A postdoctoral position is available in the Center for Circadian & Sleep Medicine under the mentorship of Kristen Knutson, PhD. Her research program primarily focuses on the links between sleep and circadian rhythms and cardiometabolic disease in humans. The work therefore involves sleep and circadian biology, cardiovascular and metabolic function, clinical and field-based assessments, and statistical analysis. Experience in these areas is a plus, but training will be provided to the successful applicant in order to diversify and enhance research skills. The postdoctoral fellow will be expected to assist with ongoing research studies and will be trained on these methodologies. S/he will also be expected to lead the analysis of data, presentations of findings at national meetings, and writing of manuscripts for publication under the mentorship of Dr. Knutson.
Eligibility: Must have PhD or MD degree from an accredited domestic or foreign institution or have received the degree(s) by the start of training. Postdoctoral applicants must have received their degree no more than 5 years ago. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents at time of application because this position is supported by an NIH T32 award.
